IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ORDER A FINCH HEN ONLY, PLEASE READ THIS. The reality of the finch business has forced us to make a change in pricing of our birds.  This is for two primary reasons.  We are required to purchase finches in male/female pairs.  Also, it is generally well known in the avian community that hens are more prone to expire than males.  Because of that, we get many orders for hens only.  Consequently we end up with a lot more male birds than hens.  Since males only do not sell very well by themselves this is causing us a severe problem. Our solution is this.  We will continue to sell pairs of finches (not canaries) for the same price as before.  However if you want a hen only, please add 50% to the price of each bird. Please note that there is a $100 minimum on shipment of birds.  In other words, your bird purchase must total $100 or more to qualify for the shipping program.
